WEST CARROLLTON CITY COUNCIL WORK SESSION MEETING

Held April 30, 1998

PRESENT: Mayor Maxine Gilman; Councilmembers Bill Gordon, Jack Jensen, Linda Lotspaih, and Bill Ennis; City Manager, G. Tracy Williams; Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey from Wright State University, (the facilitator for the meeting).

City council held the seventh annual Vision Retreat beginning at 2:00 p.m., on April 30, 1998, at Moraine Farm on Stroop Road. Dr. Mary Ellen Mazey, from Wright State University, served as the facilitator.

City council reviewed their Vision Statement and made appropriate changes as needed. Critical issues which were addressed by the city council concerning the future of the city were demographics, urban design, growth, economic development, neighborhoods, relations with other governments, and proactive organization.

Dr. Mazey said she would prepare a draft report for council’s review.

The council concluded the work session at approximately 8:30 p.m.

Having no further business, the meeting was adjourned.
